Y Volunteer
Over 2,000 YMCA volunteers, including
coaches, camp counselors, mentors (Y-Pals program), fundraisers, and board members, make a difference in
our community each day through their compassion, hope and love. They are the

Y Giving
The Algona Family YMCA is a 501C3
non-profit organization. Charitable donations to the YMCA make a
positive and profound impact on individuals, families, and entire communities.
Gifts may benefit the overall work of the Algona Family YMCA or can be
designated to support a particular program of the YMCA. Gifts given in the form
of endowments for perpetual giving are welcomed.
Checks and credit card donations are gratefully accepted. Contributions to the Algona Family YMCA, a tax-exempt organization, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes.
The Algona Family YMCA is supported by the United Way of North Central Iowa and Partners with Youth, an annual sustaining campaign.
